Bára Závadová

My name is Bára and I live mostly in the water land, in the swimming pool. That’s right, I am a professional swimmer.

Since I was a little girl I’ve been attracted to water. As I went through the youth categories and I started to win competitions, I became attracted to it even more. And I still love it. Not only winning competitions, but also winning “the pool race” during the training. And we have trainings twice a day!

I have tried many different styles during the years I’ve dedicated to swimming and I’ve kept doing all four of them – the biggest swimming race is the 400-meter medley (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle) and I have become really confident and successful in it. I won a bronze medal at the European Championship, fifth place at the World Championship, I participated in Olympic Games in London and Rio and since 2009 I’ve regularly competed in the European finals.

In the Czech Republic I’ve won many championship titles, broken seven Czech records and have been named best swimmer of the year for 4 times. But I want more. Get ready Tokyo!

Why do I use MANA?
