Folic acid, (Vitamin B9)

Folic acid, also sometimes called vitamin B9, folate or folacin, is a water-soluble vitamin. It occurs primarily in leafy vegetables, fruits, yeast and some animal sources. Folic acid plays an important role in the synthesis of nucleic acids.

In the human body, folate contributes to normal amino acid synthesis, normal blood formation, normal homocysteine metabolism, normal psychological function and the normal function of the immune system. Folate further contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue and plays a role in the process of cell division. It also contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.

The daily intake of folic acid, after the consumption of 5 servings of Mana Powder or Mana Drink is 400 µg.

Enjoy Mana as part of your varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Mana is suitable for all healthy adults.
