Manganese

Manganese concentration varies widely amongst different foods. Manganese is found in cereals, rice, nuts and some sorts of tea. In the human body, it plays an important role as a cofactor for some enzyme systems. There is no current recommended daily intake of manganese. The US National Research Council estimates a safe and adequate intake for an adult human to be between 2 and 5 mg per day, EFSA 1-10 mg of manganese per day.

It has been shown that manganese contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, the maintenance of normal bones, the normal formation of connective tissue and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

5 servings of Mana Powder contains 3,75 mg of manganese, and 5 servings of Mana Drink contains 2 mg.

Enjoy Mana as part of your varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Mana is suitable for all healthy adults.
