Pantothenic acid, (Vitamin B5)

Pantothenic acid is also known as vitamin B5. It is a water-soluble vitamin that occurs mainly in meat, whole grain products and legumes. The active form of pantothenic acid is coenzyme A, which participates in metabolic reactions of carbohydrates and lipids, and is essential for the synthesis of certain vital substances such as amino acids, fatty acids and cholesterol.

It has been shown that pantothenic acid contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D and certain neurotransmitters. Pantothenic acid further contributes to reductions in tiredness and fatigue and contributes to normal mental performance.

Vitamin B5 is a natural compound of Mana Powder and Mana Drink ingredients. Moreover, we add vitamin B5 as calcium pantothenate. Through the daily consumption of 5 servings of Mana Powder or Mana Drink, the intake of pantothenic acid is 10.5 mg.
