Vitamin B3, (Niacin)

The term “vitamin B3” describes two related biologically active compounds: nicotinic acid and nicotinamide (niacin). Niacin is the precursor to two important cofactors, NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) and NADP (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate), which are necessary for many enzymes catalyzing redox reactions in the human organism. B3 vitamins are water soluble.

Niacin contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal functioning of the nervous system, normal psychological function, the maintenance of normal mucous membranes, the maintenance of normal skin and a reduction in tiredness and fatigue.

The intake of niacin, after daily consumption of 5 servings of Mana Powder is 20 mg and Mana Drink is 18 mg.
