Marek is in charge of Mana's product technology. This means making strategic decisions regarding research, development, product composition, clinical studies and analyses, and all other chemical, physical and biological aspects of our product. He oversees production and helps solve any problems that may occur throughout.
He has been a chemist for the last 12 years, and he loves what he does. He has a master's degree in organic chemistry from the Faculty of Science at the Charles University in Prague, where he researched enantioselective organic synthesis of pharmacologically active substances. While studying, he founded his own company to help other companies overcome various technological challenges via chemistry. Next thing you know, he's working for Mana full time.
"Mana is a demonstration of food-science technology in the 21st century. It represents the height of human knowledge in our area, and the culmination of experience acquired over the ages - sometimes even painfully. It is now our responsibility to do something with that knowledge and experience. However, it is also our responsibility to make sure that we do it in the right way, lest the ethical principles of our civilization get lost in the in the ever-growing sea of information."
"Ethics are the basis of Mana, the guidelines for how we apply science and technology. We want Mana to have a positive effect on our planet, and I think it can."
