Kateřina works for us as a Development Specialist. A key part of her job is to refine the recipes of Mana Powder and Mana Drink using the latest innovations in science. This means adjusting the proportions of macro ingredients (proteins, fat and carbohydrates) and micro ingredients (vitamins and minerals) in our products. She also tests the physical and sensory properties of all newly arrived raw materials for best quality. Every modification of ingredients or proportion of ingredients must be verified by her and the rest of our evaluation team before becoming a part of the recipe for Mana Powder or Mana Drink.
Before joining Mana, she worked as a receptionist at a gym in Prague. When not at the desk, she would prepare refreshments for weekend seminars, take care of the athletes and keep the venue tidy. She is currently doing her doctorate in chemistry and food science via distance learning at the University of Chemistry and Technology Prague.
Kateřina likes photography, writing and being outdoors. She knows a lot about nutrition, and enjoys high-intensity and strength training. Afterwards, you might find her studying literature.
Mana is perfect for when I don't have time to eat. I mean, that's the idea, right? I sometimes eat it for breakfast when I'm in a hurry, or when I have plans after work and know I won't get home till late. It keeps my thoughts away from the junk food I would otherwise eat in those situations.
