Martin handles our external communication and media relations. He started working for us in 2018, first as an external consultant from PR agency Botticelli, and since summer of 2019 as a full-time member of the Mana team.
During his 3 years at Botticelli, he developed communications for well-known brands such as PepsiCo, PlayStation, Gambrinus and ČSOB. There, he very much enjoyed attracting media attention for Czech companies - he was responsible for the PR communications of startup Zaslat.cz, scooter manufacturer Kostka, and of course, his favorite, Mana!
He has been doing this since he was 18. When he realised that he would never make a living playing football, he became the editor-in-chief of all publications for the first-league football club in the city of Most. For 6 years he managed their official communication channels. While studying journalism at the Palacký University Olomouc, he worked as a journalist for the regional MF DNES daily newspaper, and cooperated with ČTK, a public news agency in the Czech Republic.
He devotes his free time to sport and his girlfriend. This often means serving as a football coach at weekends and dog sitting with her. They love to take the pups out for long walks in the forest, or even on vacation.
